Two men sought over Tunbridge Wells stabbing

Detectives in West Kent have today released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to in connection with incident that happened in Tunbridge Wells town centre at Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells on Saturday 5 January around 11.30pm

 

During the incident a 23 year old man received a stab wound to his stomach, he received surgery for his injury and is now making a good recovery. It is expected that he will be able to leave hospital within the next few days.

Police would like to speak to the two men in the picture who are shown standing in the door of the public house opposite where the incident happened as they may have information about the incident that could help the investigation.

Det Sgt Richard Pringle said: ‘I hope that one or both of the men in the picture will contact us as soon as possible, or if anyone has any information about who they are we would be pleased to hear from them.

Seven people who were in the area and were arrested in connection with the incident were given police bail while inquiries continue.
