The concerts are free and played on the banstand in the idyllic historic Pantiles, which have attracted many thousands of Jazz fans over the years, and many music lovers who visited to enjoy the atmosphere that is only found in the Pantiles!
From soul sounds to the old Jazz favourites and big band sounds will be performed, music for all tastes will treat you to some very enjoyable evenings.
The performances will start at 7.30pm every Thursday from June 9.
Some of the restaurants, bars and pubs in the Pantiles sponsor these Jazz evenings, they welcome everyone who wishes to book a table, sit back and enjoy the excellent food and relax to the sounds of Jazz. For these occassions have a truly community atmosphere for everyone, young and old to enjoy.
David Barnes Force 10 Big Band will begin the programme of events that that will certainly get your feet tapping to their fantastic sounds.
Hard Lines, another great band will be performing their favourite Jazz Funk sounds for the crowds to listen to and enjoy.
The Cuban Violets will bring you the exotic sounds of Latin music.
The Chillibillies are also featured with an extensive array of Jazz, Soul and Blues...music for everone's taste.
Derek Nash and Friends will also bring his own delights in music to the Pantiles, with a new style of Jazz.
The Ray Rich Band also covers many favourites in Jazz, Soul and Blues music, with their experience in performing some great numbers from some of the world's best musicians and vocalists will be played.
