New Neighbourhood Officer in Tunbridge Wells District
Kent

PC Rachel Howson has joined the Tunbridge Wells neighbourhood police team that covers Rusthall, Langton Green, Showfields, Ramslye, Bidborough and Speldhurst.

Rachel who previously worked as a patrol officer in the West Kent area and within the CID department has been in her new role for just over a week.  During this time she has patrolled with the PCSOs who cover the same locations in order to meet as many of the local community as possible in a short time.

‘It’s early days but I am really enjoying the move to the neighbourhood team,’ said PC Howson.  ‘Every job has its challenges but I am looking forward to what this role brings.  Hopefully local residents will come along to the regular police surgeries or PACT meetings but in the short term I hope they will stop me for a chat if they see me locally.’

PACT (Partners and Community Together) meetings and surgeries are advertised locally, or for further details PC Howson can be contacted at the Tunbridge Wells neighbourhood office on 01892 502104 or via email tunbridgewellsnhp@kent.pnn.police.uk
