Tunbridge Wells Farmers Market takes place on Civic Way, outside the Town Hall in the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, 9am – 2pm. The market abides by the ‘FARMA’ national association rules of membership for selecting stallholders, which sets a standard to ensure that the stallholders are legitimate and that the produce they bring along to the market is their own.
Cllr Elizabeth Thomas, Portfolio Holder for Planning and Development at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, said:
‘We are delighted that Tunbridge Wells Farmers Market has been short listed to win a Taste of Kent Award. The Farmers Market serves to provide the local community with fresh, local produce, and to be recognised as one of the top three farmers markets is testament to the high standards it maintains.’ |
