Tunbridge Wells Museum and Art Gallery is based in the same building as the library and boasts an impressive collection of local artifacts.

The Museum has a fine collection of Tunbridge Ware, in fact it ha the largest collection in the World. Tunbridge Ware was a distinctive style of marquetry which was made in and around the town for over 200 years.

There is also a extensive natural history collection and large collections of interest to local historians.

The Museum runs a schools programme which gives schools access to a range of resources.

As well as school visits to the museum, there is an outreach programme and special workshops focusing on different areas of the curriculum.

The art gallery runs a wide range of exhibitions throughout the year, with a special focus on local artists.

The gallery has a large exhibition space with excellent facilities for display both pictures and other art works.
