St Thomas's Church in Southborough was consecrated by the Archbishop of Canterbury in 1860, having been built with £2,400 provided by Mrs Sarah Pugh, who has a memorial in the sanctuary.
The original building has been extended over the years, the latest change being the creation of a nave platform and nave altar to bring the service closer to the congregation.
The church boasts a copy of Botticelli's "Our Lady of the Magnificat" which was presented to the church in 1923 by Mr Partridge of Oakdale.
St Thomas's is a Church of England Church and holds regular services, both on Sundays and throughout the week.
