Christ Church is an evangelical anglican Church with a modern worship style. Most services have a band present and hymns are generally modern compositions.

The Rector of Christ Church, Gerald Hovenden is also the Southborough Team Rector, although he has special responsibility for the day to day running of Christ Church.

Christ Church itself can seat up to 240 people, and chairs have replaced traditional pews. The church is very active in the community.

There is an active Sunday School in Christ Church on Sunday mornings and there are also regular events for the young people. Home Groups meet during the week, mainly in the evenings although there is also a daytime group for those unable to attend in the evening or perhaps preferring a daytime meeting.

Christ Church holds regular events such as Ten-Pin Bowling and ladies events. The Church runs an Alpha course in the autumn to encourage those who want to know more about the Christian faith.

There are regular Sunday services, generally starting at 9.30am and an evening service on Sundays starting at 6.30pm
