The Inn boasts oak beams, white linen tables, a fish tank in the floor!, log fires in the colder months and in the warmer weather our beautiful gardens.
All our food is sourced locally, prepared & cooked to order. Traditional bar meals, light lunches, daily specials & snacks are served daily in the bar. The Gallery restaurant offers fine dining Monday - Saturday evenings, with Sunday lunches served each week in the restaurant & bar areas. Formally used as a luncheon stop for the horse drawn guards transporting prisoners from London to Lewes. Legend has it the Inn was also a courting venue for Henry VIII & Anne Boleyn. All of our rooms are en-suite, we offer all the comforts of a traditional Inn, and the warm welcome you would expect! |
