The Hand and Sceptre is a new style of contemporary country pub serving fresh food in a stylish surrounding. The pub dates back to 1728 and was named after the original landlord George New-Hand – now things have really changed!

Each of our 14 bedrooms have been stylishly appointed with LCD televisions, luxury furnishings & a modern bathroom – as well as being as comfortable & welcoming as possible, ensuring that they are more than just a place to stay. Of course our rooms have all the essentials.
