Waitrose Ltd. which is part of the John Lewis Partnership, has been running a project for about 6 Months in its branches throughout the UK that supports local good causes, it donates £1000 per month to be shared by three good causes.

Waitrose at Tonbridge!

 Every time a customer shops at Waitrose they receive a green token, they then put the token in the box of the good cause of their choice. At the end of the month the proportion of the tokens that are in each box divides the share of the money. The current good causes are, Kelly Trust for Sick Children, The Child Contact Centre, and Guide Dogs. The scheme is very popular with the public as they nominate the good causes that participate each month.
