Local organisations to be given Council's minibus fleet

Alison Weir - The Wars of the Roses
Alison Weir is coming to St Bartholomew's Church, Otford on Friday 8th October at 8.00pm. Tickets are £6.00. She is part of the 60th Anniversary Celebrations for The Otford & District Historical Society. Half of the ticket proceeds will go to help for the restoration of the Church Tower. She will also do a book signing, with the books being provided by Jen, on a sale and return basis. The Lecture is The Wars of the Roses.

Sevenoaks residents get Up and Running
Women in Sevenoaks are being given a unique opportunity to join a progressive running group for ladies with mild to moderate depression who are not currently runners.
The non-competitive friendly group is for anyone who is experiencing depression, anxiety, negative mood or low self-esteem and will guide participants through walking and running gradually over eight weeks.

Youngsters go 'Weald' in the country
Over 50 young residents from all over the District enjoyed seven exciting days of fun activities at Rock UK, Halls Green from 14 August.
The Halls Green Adventure Centre was booked for the week with young people from Sevenoaks, Swanley and New Ash Green taking part in the stimulating exercises on offer. The trip was organised as part of Sevenoaks District Council's '8-12s' project, providing children with recreational and educational opportunities.
