Founded in 1905, the Rochester Cruising club is set in one of the most picturesque parts of the town. With it’s club house housed on the Esplanade beneath Rochester Castle, the club offers a comprehensive range of facilities for the motor cruising enthusiast. It has an active social calendar as well as home waters and abroad cruising from its deep water pontoons. The club is responsible, annually, usually early in July for providing the Admiral's Barge and accompanying the Mayor of Medway, who, as Admiral of the River, cruises those parts of the river under his jurisdiction. So if you are already interested in motor cruising, or fancy trying it as a new hobby, why not pop along and start up your motor! Tel: 01634 841350 |
