Born in London, Robert Marshall-Andrews moved to Kent following a university career in Bristol. His career as a barrister, specializing in commercial fraud, set him up for a life of politics, and he became the Medway Labour MP in 1997. Over the course of his time in politics Mr Marshall-Andrews has proved himself to be very passionate about legal reform, civil liberty, the environment, education, and the economy. As well as his political career, Marshall-Andrews also enjoys dabbling in the literary world, and has penned two successful novels and is a regular columnist in a selection of national broadsheet papers. He is married with two children and three grandchildren. |
