The last time that man had the audacity to conquer us, was the might of the Roman Empire nearly 2, 000 years ago. But since that time, French Leader, General Napoleon, once a corporal, as was Hitler, also had his eyes set on England and desired to conquer our island, and failed.

Likewise, Hitler in “The Great War” was an unknown corporal, he too wanted when his time came to rise to power, and conquer this...our England...our Home.

Both of these pompous, puffed up leaders and dictators of Europe failed dismally, and pathetically, in their own devious intention of delivering our island home into oppression and slavery, according to their own dictatorial laws and statutes.

The British people, would have most assuredly been led into exile under the slavery of Hitler's Nazi Regime...just like the people of Poland, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, and France.

Allied Forces Bomb the Beaches

Only 22 miles away across the English Channel, tens of thousands of Wermacht and Waffen S.S. troops stood by on high alert. Hitler's massive Army was fully prepared on the outskirts of Dunkirk and around the Pas-de-Calais area of Northern France.

Thousands of converted barges were moored ready to be loaded with troops and vehicles of every description, for their planned invasion.

Of this massed force hundreds of  armoured and panzer tank divisions readied themselves, accompanied by thousands of Luftwaffe aircraft. They all waited patiently and full of confidence  for their Fuhrers command to begin “Operation See-Lowe” (Sea-Lion) and commence the invasion and destruction of England.

The Kreigmarine of Grand Admiral Doenitz, was also ready to be employed and begin the shelling of England, with their mighty battleships.

The proud and arrogant Lufwaffe fighter and bomber pilot's waited, and wondered as to why their great and revered  Leader had not given the order to invade, as these were the ones who would begin the invasion by destroying Britain's towns and cities with Stuka dive bombing attacks.

Their arrogance preceded them, for they firmly believed that the puny, weakly protected, unprepared island of England, had already been conquered!

They would have to wait, until the apparent might of Goering's Luftwaffe had blown the British Royal Air Force from the skies, then England would be invaded, overthrown, and enslaved.

But Hitler was not fully aware of just what a fight the British would put up to defend their homeland, whatever the cost, the British were ready to fight to the death to prevent any invasion by the strongest and most powerful army the world had ever seen.

With the greatest courage, bravery, and tenacity, the R.A.F blew the Luftwaffe from the skies over England during the blackest days of the country's history, therefore, giving us the chance of Freedom, and to fight back another day.

The might of all the Allied Forces against Hitler's tyrannical Nazi Regime, which had held the world to ransom for over four long years of destruction, desolation, and death, was soon to change.

The day dawned

The day dawned as the combined military chiefs of the Allied Forces began their own preparations and planned operations, for their own military might would be pitched in battle against that of the enemy...very soon!
