Following a Cambridge education, Micheal Howard was appointed a QC in 1982. Howard was elected MP for Folkestone and Hythe a year later. His political career then won him the title of secretary of state for the environment, following the 1992 election, before holding the title of home secretary in 1993, a position he held for four years. Howard plans to step down at the next election, but until then continues to represent Folkestone and Hythe at Westminster. Tel: 01303 253524
