If the urge to strap on a gas cylinder and plunge into the channel has ever appealed to you, a visit to the Ashford Dive club is probably right up your street! The club has been helping local divers find their fins, so to speak, at the Connington Hotel in Ashford for many years, and has always proved popular. Although the club does not provide training, many of the members are qualified diving instructors, and are often willing to offer guidance and support. As well as promoting safe and responsible diving, the club organises social events and talks on the subject, as well as planning an annual holiday for the members. Anyone with appropriate diving qualifications is welcome, even just to pop along and have a chat. . http://www.ashforddiveclub.com/adcWeb/ |
